About Me
A Triple Threat
A Scholar
I graduated Wellesley magna cum laude, sigma xi, with honors in Developmental Psychology. As a student, I often said my academic focus was human behavior, and I chose to study it from the perspectives of a social scientist and an artist. I continually reflect on the psychological impact of theatre for the characters, artists, and audience — a reflection informed by a scientific and psychological approach.

An Athlete
Growing up, I participated in years of state, regional, national, and international athletic competition in the sports of soccer, horseback riding, and crew, I learned to be the best possible teammate (with humans and non-humans alike). I internalized a high work rate, gained appreciation for the value of practice and rehearsal, and developed the ability to perform in high-stakes situations.

An Artist
I believe Theatre is a practice in compassion - for the artists and for the audience. When executed correctly, Theatre teaches us to understand others, ourselves, and the world we live in with clarity, with beauty, and with compassion.
